Description of service
This included two house calls and parts. The two separate house calls were over a month apart and the parts were control valves which had to be replaced.
Review of Service
The initial contact with the repairman was bad, but this was because the repairman was on his way out of the company he worked for. He ordered the wrong parts and never bothered to let anyone know that he had even been on the service call. When we were finally able to contact a manager in the local area, the repairman had already left the company as had the manager who was responsible during that time. The new manager was able to get a repairman out within 3 weeks, the new repairman was extremely professional and after just a description of the problem was able to identify which part needed to be repaired. Once he identified the problem, he ordered the part and then it only took another 5 days to get it. All total it took over a month to get our new washing machine working.
Tips
Make sure you know what is covered under any warranty, and make sure that you have a means of following up on a service call. Read the fine print to ensure that you won't run out of warranty because a company doesn't tend to your service call promptly.
