Description of service
Our cat was a rescue from a local shelter. They believe she was feral and has never allowed us to touch or play with her. We noticed she was not eating as much as she had previously so we rounded her up and took her to the vet. The vet informed us that she had an infected tooth. As she was afraid of people we did have to have her knocked out to have the procedure done. The vet drilled her infected tooth down and cleaned it out as well as cleaned out the rest of her teeth while she was out.
Review of Service
We've never had anything but great service from our vet. After the procedure our cat was obviously pretty groggy. We got very specific instructions on how to treat her but unfortently we were not able to clean her teeth as requested. She did start eating again within a day and has shown no ill long term side affects. We were definitely glad he was able to knock her out so the procedure could be done smoothly.
Tips
Any time your animal is going to be put under you better make sure you really know and trust your vet. It takes a lot less to permanently harm an animal than it does a person.
