Description of service

We got a new cat from a shelter and took her to the vet to get a full check up. Our vet recommended we get the cat's teeth cleaned. The cost for the cleaning and some toothpaste and special tooth brush for the cat was $50.00.

Review of Service

Our new cat was from the shelter and we weren't sure what kind of care she'd gotten before. Because of this it was important to us to get her teeth a good cleaning. The dentist did it quickly and, as far as I know, thoroughly. The best part though was that the vet gave us a lot of tips to keep the cat's teeth clean and healthy in the future. She told us what kinds of food were best for her teeth, gave us advice on some treats that will clean the teeth and showed us how to brush her teeth ourselves. I think this information and the brushing lesson will save us some money in the future.

Tips

I would recommend trying to get your cat's vet (or whoever's cleaning your cat's teeth) to give you advice on how to do that yourself. It'll save you costs in more serious dental work in the future.
