Description of service
When I was injured in a car accident and had to say in the hospital I was scared out of my mind. I had never stayed in a hospital for more than a few hours before and I did not know what to expect. I heard all these stories about horrible hospital says and I've never heard a good story before so I was expecting the worse. The nurses came to check on me at least twice an hour and my family stayed with me the whole entire time. The time in the hospital was a long stay and I tried to deal with it the best I could.
Review of Service
When the doctors came into talk to my family and me about my condition they used words we could understand. Instead of that medical language no one is sure what they are saying. Any questions I had they answered them in a way that was truthful no matter how hard it was to hear the truth about my condition. The nurses came in quite often to check on me and they wouldn't leave my room if no one was in there. They knew I didn't want to be left alone.
Tips
You really have to try to be patient and kind with the medical staff. If you are ugly with them they won't take the extra time to make sure you are comfortable. Why should they? If you don't respect them they are not going to respect you.
