Description of service
Our dad had minor heart and lung issues. He had to stay in the hospital for 7 days and his portion of the bill was 250 a day.
Review of Service
They did everything to make a stay as nice as you could have it for being in a hospital. Our dad spent 7 days there and had only good things to say about the place during his stay. Every staff member we spoke with treated us with respect and took their time to explain what they were doing to our dad at all times.
Tips
After our dad spent a week in hospital on bedrest, I can offer some advice for anyone who finds themselves in the hospital. One, bring your own cup, mug for hot drinks, fork, knife, and bring a good pillow- unless you like tiny pillows with beans in them usually
ask a friend to help out- the hospital care seems to depend on outside help for patients in many ways. Bring a cell phone- often the only way for people to get in touch with you, but may not be allowed in parts of the hospital. Bring ear plugs and a night shade (eye-patch)- some rooms are shared and noisy, others are private and usually quiet, but being in bed all day usually makes you a lighter sleeper, anything that will help you get some quality sleep will help you get better faster. If you have perishables, use a cool bag- most hospitals don't have a fridge in the room, but there are usually shared or rental fridges that you can use- ask the hospital staff about this.
