the Price of a Tubal Ligation

After having my baby, I did not want anymore children. I talked to my doctor about having a tubal ligation at the same time I gave birth since I was already in the hospital. He agreed to this. I ended up having a cesarean section, so he did the tubal ligation at that time. The bill for the tubal was just added to all my other bills I incurred at the hospital at the same time.

Because I was already having the cesarean section, It was no big deal getting the tubal ligation. I didn't even realize the doctor was doing it. It did not hurt and was relatively simple and fast. I have not had any problems with mine and therefore, it appears it was a success. I have had no pregnancies or even pregnancy scares.

If you are going to have a tubal ligation, make sure you are absolutely positive this is the write choice. I was happy with my tubal ligation until recently. Now I want another baby and must undergo another surgery which is much more expensive than the initial tubal ligation. I am about to spend about $6,000 with no guarantee it can even be successfully reversed.
