After our second child, we did not want to have any more of them; and we were very sure about it. So my wife recently undertook this tubal litigation surgery. This surgery is normally preferred by women who do not want more children but wish to remain sexually active. The total cost of the whole surgery was $1600. A major part of the cost was covered by insurance.
Review of Service
The service was great. The doctors, nurses and all other staff members were too friendly and answered all queries posted by my wife. It was done after the birth of the second son, there was slight delay in the time that she would have normally taken to recover. Do go in for such a surgery if you are sure that you do not wish to extend your family any further.
Tips
Undergoing such a surgery is something that needs to be consented by your spouse. Do consult your other half before taking any such step. Do remember that as with all surgeries, even this surgery has a risk for scar tissue which can be painful and permanent. Recovering fully might take around five to ten days. Do take proper care and arrange your finances before hand.
