Description of service
I had two moles removed from my upper lip (one encroached on the lip itself) by a cosmetic surgeon that I wanted removed for cosmetic reasons and wanted to ensure that I left as little scar as possible.
Review of Service
Cosmetic surgeons that remove moles on an elective basis are difficult to find and I spent several days trying to avoid a referral to a dermatologist for it to just be shaved off. The cosmetic surgeon I went to was very quick and I didn't wait long in the waiting area. My appointment was made in a very short time and my results were fantastic. There is hardly a scar at all and I am pleased with the results.
Tips
If you have a mole that is larger or may require something more than a shave biopsy, I recommend have excision. It can be difficult to find a cosmetic surgeon who removes moles, but you can usually ask one who doesn't do them if they know someone that does. Because my moles were on the face, I didn't want to be referred to a dermatologist for shave removal and it took me some time to locate a respected cosmetic surgeon who also excised moles.
