Description of service
I received routine health screenings, first once a month and then more frequently as I moved along in my pregnancy. I also received two sonograms of my child during the second and third trimesters. I was given a prescription for pre-natal vitamins and access to pre-natal classes (i.e. delivery practice, breathing techniques, etc.). I was able to choose from several hospitals that the doctor worked out of and was given a walk-thru of the hospital and the delivery procedures.
Review of Service
The office that I went with was a group of doctors. I saw and was able to get familiar with all the doctors so that I could choose which one I was most comfortable with. I always felt very comfortable and almost like family with the nurses and doctors at the office. They would greet me by name and ask how I was doing and if there was anything I needed. I was given any and all information I would need to understand everything from pregnancy to after delivery. I went to this office for both of my children and will go there in the future if I were to become pregnant again. I was extremely happy with the services I received for the money I paid.
Tips
If you are looking for a prenatal care facility/doctor make sure you do your research and give yourself as many options as possible. If you choose a facility or doctor you aren't comfortable with, don't settle. You should be happy and this should be a memorable time in your life. You want to make sure to have as much information as possible and be as comfortable as possible with the people who will be helping you through your pregnancy and possibly delivery.
