Description of service

This is the price we paid to have wood floors refinished in the main living area and one bedroom of our home. The price included removal of carpet in the bedroom, as well as the actual sanding and staining of the floors. The approximate area of the refinishing was 1500 square feet. The time it took to complete the process was about one week. The technicians first sanded the floor, then applied the stain. The next step was to apply a polyurethane clear protective coat. This last step takes some time to cure before normal traffic can resume, thus the one week completion time.

Review of Service

We live in a very old house and had wanted to have the floors refinished for quite some time. But, we also knew that the process was time consuming and expensive. I think the price we paid was very reasonable. In terms of time, one week is a long time to be out of your home! Luckily, we were able to stay at a neighbor's house so our schedule was not too disrupted. Overall, the final product is absolutely beautiful! The floors are shiny and look like they are brand new. The deep stain we chose really adds alot to our home's overall apperance. We are very happy we decided to have the floors refinished.
