Description of service
We rented a minivan because two families decided to go to a cottage about 200 kms away. There were a total of 6 people including 3 adults. We used a local renting service to rent a minivan for the weekend.
USD 101.14 / day x 3 days = 312.42
Tax = $41.79
Total = USD 354.21
Review of Service
It was a new minivan with very littled mileage (approx 4000). Everything was in good condition (a/c, stereo). The interior and exterior were clean. The sales person was nice enough to extend our return time which was Monday 3 pm to 8 pm. It gave us extra time instead while returning from our cottage. The car had a full tank when we rented it and we had to give back a full tank upon return.
Tips
While shopping I realized weekend deals are much better than if you were to rent during a weekday. Plus, I realized 4 door cars are expensive than minivans. I think because most people prefer 4 door and the cost of gas is cheaper too. Another tip is weekly packages are much cheaper too but we didn't want one for a week, so opt out of it. But if you are looking for a deal, then go for either weekly or weekend special.
