the Price of Renting a Minivan

I needed a minivan to hold 7 people after we arrived at Burbank Airport to drive down to Anaheim. It also had to be large enough to hold all of our luggage. At the airport, I went to the car rental kiosk, showed them my reservation paperwork and was set up with the vehicle. A van was waiting for us to take me, my wife, 3 kids and my two in-laws to the car rental center. We were greeted by one of the customer service agents who told us our van was just being washed. After they were done washing it, we had our van and off we went.

Service at the rental agency was really terrific. The customer service agent was prompt and explained to us the delay in getting the van. There was really no problem waiting for the van to be washed. After the van was ready, we received the usual stuff car rental agencies give you, e.g., rental paperwork, maps, etc. My overall experience with this agency was really great and I would use them again.

Car rental agencies will aways try to see if you want additional insurance or if you want them to fill up the gas tank after you are done with their vehicle. Before renting, check with your insurance company to see if your existing coverage will cover the rental. As for the gasoline, it's just a matter of paying attention to where the local gas station is and doing it yourself.
