A minivan was rented for moving some equipment over several days. It was a three day rental picked up at an off airport location. It was returned to the same location. Reservation was made online. No insurance coverages were purchased. The days involved were midweek and didn't include any weekend days. Price would have gone up if it had included a weekend day. Gas was not prepaid.

The service was standard for what you expect renting a vehicle. There was a competitor offering pick up and drop off which would have been nice, but the price went up significantly. Line was reasonable at the off airport location and the clerk was relatively efficient. Total time was approximately 20 minutes from arrival at location until driving away in the minivan. The reservation process was smooth.

It is obviously best to check multiple prices for the vehicle you need online. Many times, various specials can be running, so best to check as many as possible. It is often unadvisable to prepay for the tank. You are better off filling it up yourself upon return. Otherwise, you often ending up giving them free gas. Also best avoided are insurance coverages. Often your own policy, or one through your credit card, is provided.
