Description of service
I paid for a rental of the minivan for one week. This price didn't include insurance. The insurance would have been an extra $35 a day.
Review of Service
Service was great. The car was 2007 , clean, smooth, and had about 20,000 on it. I recieved the car with half tank of gasoline and returned it the same way to avoid the expensive fuel charge that could be charged by the car rental comapny. The car rental representative was patient, helpful, and even called once a few days into the weekly rental to ask if everything is okay. He made a copy of my license, entered my personal information into the company's computerized system, walked with me toward the car area so I can choose a car of my liking, finished all the paperwork, gave me the keys, and wished me a nice time in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Tips
Call your insurance company and ask them if you're covered for renting a rental. Most companies insure you for that and that way you'll be able to reject the expensive insurance that the rental company is offering and save bwtween $20 and $35 a day. Another way to save around %5 of the total price would be to show AAA membership if you have one.
