the Price of Renting a Minivan

I paid around 69.95 a day, and then i think 14 or 15 dollars in taxes and fees. I had the minivan for four days.

The servce was ok, I reserved my vehicle online about a week before my trip. When I arrived, they did have a minivan reserved for me, but it was a little older than I would have like. However it ran fine and was clean. I used it for four days, returning it on the fourth day. I rented the mini van for a weekend trip with my family, and it served its purpose. But I am always surprized how much it costs to rent even a basic vehicle.

I definitely recommend either calling in advance or going on the rental car website before you plan to rent the vehicle, if at all possible. That way you make sure you get the type of vehicle you want. In the past i have failed to do this and was stuck with a much smaller car than i would like. I also recommend checking with your insurance company to make sure that rental vehicles are covered. Most of the time your insurance company will tell you not to get the optional insurance from the rental company because it is already covered with them. So know what you are covered for before you let the rental company talk you into a bunch of extras you don't need.
