the Price of Renting a Minivan

This service included on-site airport pickup and return. The mini-van seated 7. I was able to rent on-line and complete the pick up information at a kiosk. From that point you simply picked out your van and checked out at the drive-through window. The van had to be returned to the same location but I was able to choose the time on line.

This was very handy, especially the opportunity to complete the pick up at a kiosk instead of having to wait in line behind everyone else who waited until they got there to rent. The information required was minimal. The van was not very clean but if you're like me and traveling with kids then it won't be so noticeable when you return it dirty as well. The parking garage that housed the rentals was a nightmare to navigate but other than that the rental and return went smoothly. I'm still not sure how but I ended up paying $113.00 in additional fees when the final credit card bill came. I apparently was for gas and insurance.

Find out ahead of time what additional fees are going to be charged. If you are traveling with children check the price of car seats for the rental. I discovered that I could by them for what I would pay in rental for a week. I ended up taking my on the plane.
