Description of service
We had braces put on my husband. He had an accident that chipped one of his teeth and pushed one tooth back behind two others. He has the regular metal braces on his top and bottom teeth to move them all into an even and straight position. The cost includes all tightenings and adjustments over the eighteen month period he is wearing the braces as well as a top and bottom retainer after the treatment is complete.
Review of Service
The service is great. The doctor is helpful in explaining the procedures and how much pain is involved. He checks the progress once every month to make sure the hardware is in good condition and to perform adjustments. He was realistic with the timeline from the very first consultation. He explained the full range of options from clear braces to having them placed on the back of the teeth. The doctor also went over the drawbacks with some of the methods and explained that traditional braces are most effective and economical.
Tips
Find a board certified orthodontist. Make sure all of your cleanings are up to date and that any cavities or gum problems have been addressed before begining braces. Also, find an orthodontist who offers a payment plan where you pay a down payment then a little each month throughout your treatment.
