Description of service
I received invisible braces for my upper and lower set of teeth to correct a severe open bite. The total price, without insurance was $6,000. With insurance, the total cost was $4500. I put $3,000 on a credit card and the Dentist's office financed the remaining total with a repayment plan not to exceed 2 years. You are required to make a visit twice a month so that the Dentist can monitor your progress (e.g. make sure that your teeth are aligning correctly and that the braces are guiding your teeth in the correct, computer-projected path). You first go in for x-rays and they take a mold of your upper and lower teeth. They also take pictures of your smile from all angles. Most Dentists will then provide you with a computer generated correction of your smile. It is usually on the first visit that they then go over financing, prices and projected finish date for your treatment. Once you have begun the treatment, they will send off the mold of your teeth they did and The company will make your trays and deliver them to your Dentist. Every two weeks you will visit your Dentist to receive a new tray.
Review of Service
It was excellent! The Dentist and his staff were knowledgeable and willing to work with my financial and social circumstances. I was always seated in the dentist chair on time, though the Dentist rarely saw me on time but this was only because he makes absolutely sure all of his clients are taken care of.
Tips
I would price shop between Dentists. I would also save up for it and not pay for in on a credit card. I would also suggest picking a Dentist that is close by to where you live or work since you will be making bi-monthly trips until the end of your treatment.
