The orthodontic treatment provided was full braces for a twelve year old girl. This treatment includes, first, the use of a device on the inner side of the upper and lower jaw in order to expand the actual jaw bone. This is done to provide enough space for the teeth. Once this is done, which takes several months, the braces are applied to the teeth to straighten them and create a correct bite. This part of the treatment lasts approximately a year, but can be shorter or longer depending on the individual. When the teeth were in the proper position, both functionally and aesthetically, the braces were removed and a retainer was made to be used at night. This last step ensures the teeth would remain in the proper position and the retainer is used for one to two years. Treatment is provided at monthly office visits. The total number of office visits needed for the entire course of treatment is approximately 24.

I found the service to be excellent. The orthodontist and his staff were professional and caring. The appointment times were flexible, with little time spent in the waiting room. The offices were exceptionally clean. And the result of the treatment is beautiful. The teeth look wonderful and are also healthy and in the proper places to function at their best.

I think a good relationship with the orthodontist is essential. Communication about the treatment goals and possibilities will ensure that the treatment is done to the satisfaction of the client, but also that the client understands the possibilities and the limitations of the treatment. I wish I'd known about payment plans before contracting for this service.
