Description of service
They will make a mold of your child's mouth, and put braces on. Then maintain them as long as it takes for the braces and your child to have the teeth moved where they want them to be. They will also make a mold in the end for a retainer and most likely require that it is worn some almost for the lifetime of your child. They did this for my child.

They gave me a payment plan and schedule for the teeth to move and an idea of how long they expect it to take.
Tips
They generally will give you a couple of choices as far as how your able to pay. When you put your first portion down around 500 or more depending on what pay plan you choose, they will begin treatment. This is a great way to get started and it does cost a lot but if your child needs braces on the top and bottom what else can you do. They probably can't keep them clean, and or the bite may be off causing a lot of other problems.
If your child needs braces, hopefully you have some insurance coverage to help pay for this expensive care. If not know that the orthodontist doesn't charge interest and knows the patients they have will be on payment plans. Do pay them though or they will remove the braces!
