Description of service
After I was involved in an automobile accident and my insurance only covered liability, I was forced to cover the cost of my own vehicle. I searched around for quite some time looking for a reasonable rate. I paid 1200 total for the front right side panel replacement, the discarding of the old materials and for the labor. All of that was summed up in te final payment. The labor itself was 400, making the right panel somewhere along the lines of 800. I had been given previous quotes and 800 was the very best price in my area at the time. I was worried about the panel not matching the rest of the car, but a stock panel was avaialbe and used in the replacement.
Review of Service
The quality of service was wonderful. My nerw panel matched the rest of the car and that was my main concern. There was not obvious lines of differene from the new panel and the origional body of the car. The best thing I believe was the time frame that it took. I only had to wait about two weeks and the auto-body shop provided me with a rental car since my insurance did not cover this. I found this to be extremely generous and it made me feel like they looked out for thier neighbors. I am under the impression that the lonaer was a courtesy and I did not have to pay for that. The value of the service matched the price in my opinion.
Tips
I would advise to make sure you are shopping around. Let someone know that you got a better price down the road and they may match it or even throw in a loaner vehicle while you wait for yours to be prepared. Just stay calm and keep looking because there are honest people out there.
