the Cost of Auto Body Repair

I went to my dealer to have a dented and scratched side door repaired. I got run into by someone trying to park next to me in a parking lot. I also got tghe front bumper replaced, the headlight and turn signal on the front drivers side as well. My mother backed into my car a week after the parking lot episode. Not my car's lucky month. The damage was all cosmetic. The door worked fine, but had to be pounded bak into shape, repained and a nre trim piece was installed. A whole new front bumper was installed and new lights.

I was pleased with the dealership's service. I would go back to them again. They matched the paint perfectly. They were a bit higher than the local body shop, but much faster. The local body shop said at least a week without my car. The dealer did the work in 2 days.

When I picked up my car, I looked it over. I made sure the door opened and closed smoothly, etc. It all seemed fine, till I had my first passenger. Then I discovered the door did not open from the inside. I had to take it back. They forgot to reconnect the door handle lever internally and had to take it appart again
