My husband is a wholesale car dealer, so we often need auto body work done on the cars that he buys. He recently purchased a 1995 Porche Boxter that a had hail damage all over the body. When we need this type of work done, we call the "dent doctor". He has a tool that pulls dents out of the surface. It cost $250.00 to pull over one hundred dents out of the body of the Porsche.
Review of Service
Under normal conditions, the "dent doctor" would come to our car lot to do his work. But, this car had so much hail damage that we had to deliver it to his house. He worked on it on evenings and weekends for two weeks. When he completed the job, we could hardly believe it was the same car. For the amount of work that he did, it was well worth the money. The car should sell for much more than we paid for it.
Tips
We often need different types of mechanical and body work done, due to the type of business we own. Having people that we trust and charge reasonable prices is very important. If you don't know an honest company for this type of labor, get some referrals.
