the Cost of DSL Internet Access

We have to have fast speed internet. My husband sometimes has to work from home at night, so we started looking around. We first went with cable. It was great, most of the time. It was fast and he could do his work from home. The only problem with cable is that they go up after your contract is up. Our cable, just for the computers, went up to 100.00. My husband and I couldn't afford to do that too much so we started to investigate on what else we could do.

We found a local phone company had switched hands and found a great deal. We got DSL from our local phone company plus our phone on top of that. In the whole package also included our satelite so we only pay 100.00 for all three! We get unlimited long distance, local service, DSL and satelite. It is perfect for our budget.

Our local phone company came out on a Saturday to install our DSL. They have been very helpful with their chat customer service and phone service. Whenever we've had any problems with our DSL, they took the time off from our bill so we wouldn't have to pay for the time that our DSL didn't work. They have been fantastic overall.

My tips are to shop around in your area. Some area's have bundled packages in the area. If you have any problems at all, let the people know. The companies are out there to help you. After all, that's what they get paid for.
