Septic pump company inspected and cleaned drain lines and tank of septic system. They also inspected plumbing inside and the lines running to the tank to find the problem.

The toilets and sinks were backing up in the house, so the pump company did a complete inspection. After inspecting starting from inside the house to the drain lines, they did everything to try to fix the problem without digging up the tank lid--but had to dig it up anyhow. Being concerned about the yard, I was leery about having them dig it up, but the company was very clean about it. They identified right where the lid was and meticulously dug, piling the dirt on a plastic sheet for easy clean up. They pumped the tank and filled the whole back in and cleaned up all the stray dirt. Before they left they inspected everything again to make sure all the lines were flowing correctly.

Have patio furniture or toys moved out of the way before the septic service comes. They have a big truck and have to park close to where the tank is.

Find out where your drain lines for the septic system are and do not have vehicles drive over them. It can cause major problems that a cleaning or pumping of the system cannot fix. Have your system cleaned or pumped regularly. It avoids the hassle and annoyance of having your system back up.
