Description of service
Originally we thought we had a problem with our toilet, but after continuously having to force anything to flush, we finally decided to dig up around the pipes and look for bulges or leaks. At the end of the day we had dug all the way to the septic tank, so my husband uncovered it. It was FULL!
The company that we chose to pump the septic tank arrived the next day and for $200, the problem was fixed.
Review of Service
The service was quick and only took about 30-45 minutes. The truck did back over one of my magnolia saplings, but I figure that was a small price to pay for having a commode that would flush again. Also, the process is loud and stinks! I went inside while they were pumping and my floorboards literally shook. Outside, the air reeked of raw sewage, but the smell dissipated within an hour of the truck leaving.
Tips
Call around for the best prices. A company that was closer to us charged almost $100 more, so I called a company located in a town an hour away. Luckily, the guy that owned that particular company lived only 30 minutes away, so we still came out with a much better deal.
