Description of service
We paid $70 for a temporary employee to help with my valet business when we were anticipating a busy night.
Review of Service
We knew we were going to have a very busy night on a day we were already understaffed. We called a local temp company and asked for a temporary employee who had a stellar driving record and would pass a background check. We were sent three resumes of people who fit the bill and chose one based on their previous experience working as a driver for a local moving company. The employee was prompt and hard working. They were very polite to the customers, although this might have been in part due to the fact that they did receive tips. They required a minimum of supervision. If we'd had any open positions we probably would have hired this person, that's how impressed we were.
Tips
Experience is much more important in a temporary setting than in a permanent one. In a permanent job all you need is a person who works hard and has the capacity to learn. However, in a temporary position you really need someone who can pick up what you want very quickly. Otherwise you may as well not have them around.
