Description of service
For the $406 I had my front disk brakes with rotor resurfacing and the rear drum replaced. Also it includes a windshield wiper and installation of it.
Review of Service
I believe I got a nice deal. I used to pay at the dealer 200 dollars or more for just my front brake pads. Also I will get 40 dollars back as they had a special going on with a mail in rebate. They had different quality brake pads and drums as well. This price is actually paid for the highest quality they have with an 18,000 miles warranty. That's sounded just about right. My brake pads are wearing out quite quickly since most of the driving I do in cities, one light after the other, lot of stopping, lot of braking so it is very important for me that the brakes are reliable and will last me a while.
Tips
Dealer and car manufactures will try to convince you that the car needs its original parts and you should not go else where but to the dealer shop. I do believe in this to a point. There are some special parts what is definitely different quality but I don not believe this fits for all parts. Break jobs can and should be done by other well qualified facilities as well, and I would say that you will save money on it.
