Description of service
During the last service, i had a 5000 mile oil change and i had my window motor replaced on my passenger side window due to it not working properly very time. the window motor began slowly sticking and until it did not work any longer.
Review of Service
The service i received was very good. the technician was well versed with my problem and able to perform the warranty repair without any issue. time spent at the dealership was very little and the service manager was able to answer my question and he gave me a deal on the labor.
Tips
Most drivers do not know that you can negotiate the price of a service job. there are three types of repairs, warranty, customer pay and internal. often times you can negotiate the service labor down to warranty price which is much lower than the price of customer pay. also when purchasing parts, some dealership will negotiate the prices down. there are in some cases a 200% mark up on some parts, so there is always some room for the dealership to give the average driver a deal. also, in order to get the better deal i would recommend treating everyone with respect and you will get much further with your service.
