Description of service
Every 6-8 weeks, preventative pesticides sprayed throughout along baseboards, door frames, windows, on the interior and exterior of the house. The pesticide was to prevent mice and rodents, roaches, ants, termites, spiders, etc. Charge was applied to these regular treatments, but the service could be called anytime for a free service between visits if there was a problem. They came several times, always within 24 hours, for things like a bee hive in the yard, "something scratching" inside a wall, a hornet's nest in a bush, etc.
Review of Service
Well worth the money. In the past, we had had pest problems in former apartments. It was nice to have a service that kept "creepy" things out of the house and that could come help us deal safely with naturally occurring problems that otherwise would have prevented our enjoyment of our backyard and home. When we had first signed up, it seemed like it might be a luxury, but we kept the service for many years and wouldn't think to live without it.
Tips
Try to be out of the house when the service is done, especially if you have kids. It doesn't smell and is not dangerous, but the curiosity factor is a bit much to deal with and can be upsetting. Also, try to schedule a regular time -- e.g., between 8-10 a.m. every 6th Monday. If you have a service that will come "free" between treatments, take it -- critical in the summer months with a yard!
