We enrolled my 4-year-old daughter in guitar lessons. The price was $25 per class. She was required to do a minimum of one month of classes, which is four classes, going once a week.
Review of Service
I thought the guitar instructor did a great job. It was a private class, and the instructor really knew the best way to go about teaching a child how to play the guitar. This was my daughter's first experience with music lessons of any kind, any she really enjoyed the class. She even went home and practiced what the instructor taughts her. The instructor taught her at a level that she could understand.
Tips
If you are looking for a music class, you must consider the cost, how many classes you will be taking, how good is the instructor. You might even consider the type of music the instructor specializes in. If he loves classical, but you have a love for country, then you might want to go with someone else. Of course, you will not get the most out of your lessons, unless you go home and practice. If you follow these tips, you are sure to find a suitable instructor no matter what age you are.
