Description of service
6 classes across 3 weeks, some good classical teaching with a bit of country for a preferred style of playing.
Review of Service
I went into the classes with a wide knowledge of guitar and music right off the bat, looking for some specifics on Classical guitar and a bit of Country guitar techniques and styles. The teacher was older, and seemed to be quite a plus because he had an absolutely enormous array of knowledge on anything i could even begin to think of. The classes were every second day of the week with the weekend off, and within those 9 combined hours i learned exactly what i needed to and a little bit extra. I had to be a bit stern with pointing out what i needed, to avoid going into some basics or off topic, but that is pretty typical with most teachers if you are already educated a bit. Overall, i had a great time, learned exactly what i need, and at about 40 dollars per class, it was quite the deal for such a great teacher. I would recommend classes to anyone who needs some assistance, pointers, technique assistance, or even just a bump in the right direction.
Tips
Find someone recommended by a friend, family or someone you can rely on and make sure the teacher has a good knowledge to teach on the type of learning you want to do. Or you might end up learning nothing at all!
