the Cost of a Handyman

Recently hired a local handyman to do work around my home. I paid him $10 an hour and provided him with lunch and a snack. His duties were to do some touch up painting in the laundry room, dig some posts in the yard, power wash the porch. These ere small tasks, He worked a total of 3 days at approximately 5 hours a day. All equipment and tools were provided. No high climbing was required.

He was very personable and reliable. He was well known in the community and had lived here quiet awhile. He came highly recommended by various neighbors. Before hiring him I met with him and showed him what tasks I needed completed and got an estimate as to how long it would take. He showed up on time and worked his time. He never stopped to linger and did an excellent job. He was here for 3 days and completed everything I had wanted him to do. He even did some extra chores for me. Like cleaning the gutters for me. i will definitely call upon his services again.

Before hiring any handyman, make sure you know his reputation. Check with your neighbors or friends about his services. If he advertises as a handyman business check with the better Business Bureau and make sure his licensed.
