I was in need of having a ceiling fan hung in my livingroom. I already had an existing ceiling fan there but the motor had went out on it causing it not to spin the blades at all. So I hired a handyman that advertised through our local flyer. He was able to come out the very next day. He took down my old ceiling fan and disposed of it for me, and hung the other one. The whole process only took about 35 minutes. Hiring a handyman was a very inexpensive alternative to hiring an electrician.

I was very impressed with the service that I received. He was very punctual, and extremely polite. He gets paid by the job, and he also offers free estimates. While he was there I had him look at a few repairs that I was in need of in my bathroom. I really like having one person that is capable of all of my repair needs.

When calling a handyman for repairs, always ask them what their credentials are. My repair man has worked for years as an electrician, and he has been in the handy man business for over 20 years. Be sure to ask about prices in advance to avoid any surprise charges.
