This price includes 6 weeks of radiation therapy as well as 2 follow-up visits and 1 preliminary visit with the doctor and 1 preliminary visit to set everything up. Also included was a visit with a nutritionist every week.
Review of Service
I was so impressed with the professionalism and care the technicians and doctors had. Everyone from the front desk receptionist to the doctors truly cared and made what would otherwise be an unpleasant experience a very easy one. They were always on time, I never had to wait and they always seemed truly glad to see me everyday. The treatments for the first 3 weeks were ok, no side effects, then I started getting a little tired and my skin started to burn. They prescribed some cream which helped but I found some OTC products that actually worked better. I met with a nutritionist every week to make sure I was eating and not losing weight. I sailed through treatment and am happy to say two years later, I'm cancer free.
Tips
The only real suggestion I have is when the burning of the skin starts and the prescription cream doesn't work, try some desitin which is used for Diaper Rash. It works much better than anything else.
