Review of Service

I loved my Doctor and was careful to find someone who specialized in my type of cancer. He was wonderful and the staff was outstanding at the chemo center. The people at the lab were wonderful as well. They really helps to make you feel as at home as possible. I had hard to hit veins and they really listened and worked with me to get the blood draws done. When you have chemo or radiation frequent blood work is a given. You will get getting blood drawn constantly to monitor the effects the treatment is having on the cancer and on your health as well. A good lab is very important. The only downside is the lab I used is very very slow. You can have to sit and wait for over an hour most times you go there, no mater what time of day you go. Finding a good lab with hours that work for you is helpful.

Tips

Find a good doctor and make friends with the staff to get better service, such as fast replies to phone calls and questions. Let friends and family help out and spoil you as much as possible. Plan to take lots of naps and just focus on your own needs. You need to do as much as you can to make your cancer treatment be effective so you are healthier fast and have less cost from prolonged treatment.
