Review of Service
Considering the circumstances, I couldn't have asked for better care. My Oncologist had a phenomenal bedside manner. She was direct with all my questions and concerns. She made sure I had personalized service from a number of nurses when going through such a traumatic time in my life. My Oncologist and her staff always greeted me by name and made me truly feel important at a time in my life where I was questioning my value.
Tips
I did a lot of research on my doctor but was fortunate enough to be referred to her by my family doctor. When looking for an Oncologist make sure to find an Oncologist that specializes in your type of Cancer. In my case Gynecology. Do your homework on the facility you will be receiving care from. The hospital I had my care at had just built an entire Cancer Care Unit for the hospital. If you need to travel to get quality care it is worth it. I drove 3 hours every day to and from my appointments. Go to where the best care is. You’re worth it.
