Description of service
This price was for the class only. You had to bring your own materials. It was also a class for beginners. It lasted about 2 hours. It was a crash course and I was taught how to read charts and knit a basic lace scarf.
Review of Service
I have gone to many, many classes at this store and am never disappointed. This class was no exception. I will say that it seemed a bit advanced for a beginners class but I was pretty much able to keep up. The lace was a lot harder than the wool or cotton classes I took in the past, as the thread was so much thinner and the needles smaller. My big hands like the big stuff! I enjoyed the class a lot though. I will say that lace knitting is not something that I took up as a habit after this class though. A bit too tedious for me. I like to knit to relax and you can not relax with those tiny needles!
Tips
I am not sure what tips to list here. Be sure to get a full list of materials needed/supplied before you go to the class. Be sure that the class is at the level you are and not above (I did find out after the fact that this class had been mislabeled online as beginners when it was intermediate!). The biggest thing is to take classes that are fun for you!
