I paid $50 for the price of cable tv repair. The problem with our cable tv had to do with the wiring, and it was something where the cable service repair guy actually had to come out to our house to fix. A service call starts at $50 for one hour of service and then $25 for each additonal hour. I only needed serviced for about 45 minutes, so my total price was only $50.
Review of Service
Although the cable repairman was 15 minutes later than the 3 hour window they gave me, he did his job very effiiciently. Ultimately, I was happy with the service, and glad that I only had to pay $50 for him to repair the cable.
Tips
You might not have a lot of choices when it comes to repairing you cable tv service. If this is the case, you should call and find out what the rate is for service calls. Some companies will charge you a flat rate, while others charge the most for the first hour, with each additional hour costing a little bit extra. You should also request a time frame as far as when the cable service repairman will be out to you house.
