Description of service
In february of 2008 I came home one day to find I had no service. After calling the company they determined it was not an internal problem and they came out to check the lines. They later told me it was a squirrel that had eaten through one of the outside lines they repaired it and charged me nothing.
Review of Service
I believe we have one of the best customer services of any utility company. First of all there open 24hr a day, so if your cable goes out at 1am you can call right then and talk to a representative. Normally they will try and diagnosis the issue over the phone and will let you know if it's an area-wide issue or specific to your service. The only thing bad about the service is if they do have to come out to your home they will only make appointments in large blocks of time (ie: 8am-12pm or 12pm-5pm) so you do have to wait at home for a long time for the technician. As stated though they do not charge you for repair services unless it is completely your fault that you've done something wrong to the equipment.
Tips
They also have some very good package deals to include telephone and internet services as well.
They offer free repair service for all paying customers. The only thing it does not cover is if the repair is something of your own fault. For instance if you break the cable box or lose or break your remote those would be fee's that you would have to pay. For a replacment remote they charge you a one time fee $35. To replace a broken cable box (if they determine it is not normal wear and tear) it is a one time fee of $150 both of these fee's are charged in full to your cable bill for the following month.
