Our cable box (provided by cable company) stopped working. I called to get a replacement. They said someone would stop by to install a new one. Ok, sounds great. Until they get there and tell me it costs $35 for them to come and do it. I shouldn't have to pay $35 in addition to my regular bill to replace their mistake.

They said someone would stop by to install a new one. Ok, sounds great. First, the repair man called my phone, which I was unable to answer because I was in the shower. When I called back 2 minutes later I was told my customer service I would have to reschedule, and next available appt. was two weeks away. I had already waited 2.5 weeks! finally after calling back and speaking w/ another CS agent, the repair man came back that day. Then when they get there I was informed it costs $35 for them to come and do it. I shouldn't have to pay $35 in addition to my regular bill to replace their faulty equipment.
Tips
Always ask if there are additional fees! Otherwise you may be hit with extra charges you never knew about. Also, If you have problems with a CS agent, always ask for someone else or a supervisor. When you are a paying customer you should get some satisfaction out of your monthly fee, not feel like you are being ripped off!
