Description of service

I went in for a filling. They perform at this office General Dentistry, emergency dentistry, family dentistry, preventative maintenance, routine exams and check-ups, x-rays, consultations, cleanings, extractions, some oral surgeries, some orthodontics.

Review of Service

The service was absolutely awful. I was thoroughly irritated when I went in for a simple cavity filling, and ended up returning three weeks later to have a root canal and crown on a front tooth. When the dentist was sealing a cavity in my right eye tooth, he somehow nicked a nerve in my front right tooth. After three weeks, I was in excruciating pain, and couldn't figure out why. It didn't even occur to me that I would need a root canal because my dentist was careless and in a hurry. When I returned and found out I needed a root canal right then and there, I was appalled. And not only did I need the root canal, I had to pay for it mostly out of pocket because I hadn't reached my annual maximum for insurance. Needless to say, it was extremely aggravating.

Tips

Find a dentist you know and trust to handle routine check-ups and exams. Visit the dentist regularly for exams and x-rays, and build confidence in your dentist. When and if a dental emergency arises, you will at least be confident in the abilities of the dentist who will be treating you, and you won't have to worry about him or her being careless or rushed.
