Description of service
I had a full root canal, gold crown, and two fillings surrounding. Required 5 total visits, and a cleaning was included. All standards of care were typical on this procedure. A discount was included for paying cash at time of service being rendered.
Review of Service
Excellent. I am not insured and didn't have a lot of money, the dentist worked with me to be able to afford the care I needed. I am so pleased with the outcome. I was always made comfortable in what is obviously a painful and stressful procedure. I feel like there was no wasted expense, the dentist ran a nice no frills style office that allowed me to get the care I needed without being ripped off. The ability to pay cash at time of service for a significant discount really helped me out a lot.
Tips
It's always tough when you have dental care that needs to be done quick. There little you can do to avoid it and waiting typically only equals risks to your health, and a huge risk of the procedure or additional work costing you more. Always ask if there is a discount for paying cash. If you don't have insurance asking for some kind of break is always the best way. You will find most providers are understanding and, in fact, like the occasion when they can get paid on the same day, Just be sure you understand their terms. As far as the procedure goes, what can i say routine self maintenance of your teeth will prevent you having to go in for a root canal. If you do find that you need one, its never bad to get a second opinion, there are times one prescribing dentist will disagree with the need for such an expensive procedure and may be able to remedy the situation with a filling.
