The service I received was paid to two specialists who worked together in completing the root canal and crown. The first was an endodontist who charged approximately $1000 for the root canal. I had multiples done, but this was the price of one. It took on average about an hour and a half, but was faster when I had two done at the same appointment. The endodontist also put a post in the tooth, which was included in that price. A prosthodontist then constructed the crown and was responsible for prepping and putting the crown in place. He also charged about $1000 for each tooth he did.

The service I received from both specialists was exceptional. Both were very patient, gentle, and caring. Although the price was expensive, I feel like I received the best possible treatment from people who have studied a specialty very thoroughly and who had a great deal of experience. I also appreciated that both dentists never acted rushed. Whenever I had one of these procedures done, the dentist had free time and no other patients he was obligated to help until he was finished.

Definitely get recommendations from friends or a dentist you are already happy with. If you know people who were satisfied with the treatment they received, chances are you will be too and you will certainly be relieved!
