Description of service

My old heating unit had been working perfectly for the last two years when it suddenly broke down last year. I called my trusted people to check it. These were the people who had been keeping the heating unit in working condition and were responsible for its regular maintenance. I had to go in for a new heating unit which cost me $500 and that cost included everything.

Review of Service

The service was just fine. I priced out several companies, and I went with the cheapest and in some ways it showed. Although the quality of the work that they did was good, and I have had no problems with the unit, when they started disconnecting the oil tank they accidentally put a little bit of cement in my sewer line to try to block that instead of the oil fill.

Tips

Since replacing a furnace is only a 3-4 times in a lifetime event we really didn't know who to call. My Sister had recently put an addition on their house and they knew of this particular contracter from their experience. For some reason they had not actually used them but they said that they would have if the choice had been up to them. We had quotes from 3 different companies and this one was the middle-pricewise. The lowest had been used by our in-laws but then we heard bad things about them and the highest was so far above this one it was beyond our price-range.
