the Price of Heating Replacement

My old furnace did not work any longer so I had a new furnace installed.There happened to be more than just the furnace that needed replacing.

The repairman came to my house and examined my existing furnace. It so happens that my exhaust pipe throught the roof was leaking into my furnace and onto my floor. The repairman removed the old unit and said I needed my floor fixed first because of water damage. I called a carpenter the next week and they came in to fix my sub-floor underneath my lanoliam. Once the sub-floor was fixed the carpentar replaced the lanoliam. I then called back the furnace people and they installed a bran-new unit in one day. The had to remove the old exhaust pipe from the chimeny first and replace that, Then they installed the new unit. They hadd to hook up the new unit to my heatin ducts and gas line. Once all hooked up they tested my system. Everything worked and I was good to go. I was satisfied with the new furnance.

I would suggest that you call the furnace people out first to examine your existing unit and then let them tell you the next steps you need to take.
