Description of service
I had five personal training sessions at a local gym with the personal trainer manager. As a new member you receive a welcome kit which has a schedule of their classes as well as offers for local businesses, such as a healthy smoothie store. They encourage you to have a few sessions with a personal trainer to get started on your goals. Each personal training session consisted of half an hour time slots where my measurements were taken, my goals were discussed, and my personal workout routine was established. The first three sessions were free, as stated in the welcome kit for new members. The last two sessions cost $65.00 each.
Review of Service
The personal trainer that I worked with was absolutely wonderful. He really made me feel comfortable and seemed to understand my concerns and my goals. He worked with me in the beginning to understand the things I needed to do at the gym as well as at home to achieve my goals. Although it was a little expensive it was well worth it. He set up a workout schedule for me and every time I come in he makes sure to find out how I am doing. He has also asked to meet with me for a few minutes to update my workout schedule. What a great experience. After having been at this gym for awhile, I have gotten to know many of the personal trainers and they all make sure I am coming in and staying focused.
Tips
I would definitely recommend getting a personal trainer, at least for your first few times at the gym to really help you get used to the gym and understand what you should do to reach your goals. I was a little skeptical at first but after I did it I was thankful.
