Description of service
It was spring 2007 and with summer quickly approaching I realized that I had a few pounds to lose before I'd be able to fit into a bikini. I hate to exercise and I knew that I wouldn't do it unless someone was there to motivate me so I decided to hire a personal trainer.
Review of Service
I'm not sure how most trainers do it but with the one I used I paid him by the hour. 1 hour = 1 session. And it was up to me to schedule my sessions and I could stop after just one if I wanted. I think that sounds pretty good because I've heard some people say that you have to sign up for so many sessions and sign a contract holding you to it. $30 dollars an hour isn't that cheap for a broke college age student so I only hired him for 5 sessions but that was definitely enough to get me motivated and he gave me some great tips. I was able to take what he taught me and use it at home and lose a few lbs.
Tips
If you can't afford $30 dollars an hour..some trainers may be more or less..I would suggest putting an ad in the local paper for a high school athlete. Most people that age have a lot of enthusiasm and they wouldn't mind making a few bucks an hour. You may not have a flexible schedule with them because they are in school but you would come out cheaper.
