Description of service
When I signed up with this particular gym, I wanted to also sign up for personal training sessions. They had a few packages to choose from. They mainly had prepaid packages by month available, but I did not want to be stuck in another contract agreement. They had 6 month or 1 year packages. I finally was able to negotiate for a "per session" price. We agreed on $50 per session. What I didn't realize when I signed up,( because they didn't mention it and I didn't think to ask) were that the sessions were 30 minutes in length. I assumed they were an hour in length. One gym I used to belong to, had hour long sessions, so I assumed that's how long it would be.
Review of Service
At this point, I was glad I didn't lock myself into another contract.
But, I do have to say that my personal trainer was very good. He was very knowledgable in every aspect of fitness and training, so I continued with my sessions. He helped me get into shape fast and was very supportive. He was worth every penny. Although I still feel that for $50 per session, it should have been an hour long session. But, that was the gym's doing, not the trainer himself.
Tips
My advie to anyone seeking personal training sessions, is to make sure you know the length of the session you are paying for before you purchase anything. Also, it is important to negotiate pricing. These places or people want your business. You pay what is comfortable for you to pay. Most likely they will agree with what it is you seek. I wish I had asked more questions to be properly informed on every aspect of what it that I was buying.
