Description of service
Had a full season start maintenance for the cost of $65.00. It included repacking of the head and pedal bearings, all points clean out and lubrication, adjustment of all breaks and shifters, re-pressurize and adjust the shocks and added a new squeaky horn.
Review of Service
My bike shop did an awesome job. They are really familiar with free-riding and know the demands and wear points caused by this heavy use sport. They were able to make some slight modification to the ride adjustments that have greatly improved my bikes performance. They were both prompt and informative showing me ways I can do the adjustments myself in the future
Tips
Getting your bike in shape at the start of the season can really take the burden of parts that have been sitting all winter. Nothing is worse that heading out on that first sunny day and having to walk it back to the car. The routine maintenance session gets a couple of eyes to go over every part of your bike and brings to light any possible safety or just hassle risks. Also, of course, it will do a lot to increase the life of your parts, which bottom line saves you money, meaning less work more ride time.
